We start with a Sport LDU in excellent condition and perform a light rebuild, including a thorough power wash, new axle seals, fresh ATF fluid, and a coolant bypass modification. Next, we install the aftermarket controller system of your choice and test the unit on our bench in both forward and reverse to ensure smooth operation.
We offer a range of aftermarket control systems, including OpenInverter, AEMEV, and EV Controls T-2C. We can also retain the OEM inverter board if you're using the unit in a Tesla vehicle.
In addition to flexible controller options, we provide high-performance upgrades such as multiple limited-slip differential (LSD) choices, various coolant bypass solutions, and premium PFI FERSA hybrid ceramic bearings for enhanced durability and performance.
For those opting for new bearings, we perform a complete rebuild—replacing all bearings and seals, polishing the rotor, buffing the stator, and thoroughly cleaning the oil pickup and screen.
