We jailbreak Tesla Model S/X large and small drive units with Openinverter logic boards. Drop off your drive unit or inverter, and we’ll install a new Openinverter logic board and bench-test it with the latest firmware and parameters.

Need to mount your drive unit in reverse orientation? No problem, we got you!

While many folks mount and run Tesla drive units in reverse, the oil pump needs to be modified to ensure proper cooling. Without addressing this issue, the unit can easily overheat and potentially cause serious damage.

We can modify your existing drive unit or set up a built-to-order unit for revese operation. Available for large and small drive units.

We install LSD and OEM differentials for Tesla Large and Small Drive Units. We’ll inspect and replace the bearings if necessary, install new gaskets, and bench-test the unit (if Openinverter jailbroken) to ensure it’s ready to roll. Contact us to learn more.

We can facilitate custom CV axles for adapting Tesla small or large drive units with virtually any other wheel hub type. If you are local, we can come to you and handle the entire process. Otherwise, we can help guide you through the process of making and sending us mock-ups to ensure proper length. We’ll then take it from there and provide you with fully assembled CV axles, so all you have to do is install them.
